CCFF-LA embraces the people of Los Angeles in all of its extraordinary diversity through support of its local artists, businesses and non-profit organizations located in downtown LA. CCFFLA will accomplish this end by promoting cultural understanding, through film, the industry for which Los Angeles is the international epicenter.

The major future challenge faced by the LA Basin is how well all these different cultures will work together, and not just tolerate, but learn to celebrate each group’s difference. CCFF-LA’s mission is to reach out to all the ethnic cultures through film, a universally accepted art form that not only entertains, but informs! Film is the most influential audiovisual medium of our time, and CCFF-LA will use it to showcase and nurture existing and emerging creative talent while serving as a springboard and catalyst for the promotion of independent and international filmmakers.

We believe film as art can lead to better understanding and foster communication between peoples of diverse cultures, races, and lifestyles, while at the same time, serving as a vehicle to initiate dialogue on the important issues of our times.

THE ETHNIC FILM FESTIVALS CAN SUBMIT ONE FILM TO CCFFLA TO REPRESENT THEIR FESTIVAL AS WELL AS THEIR CULTURE NO CHARGE.

INEXCHANGE CCFFLA WILL HYPERLINK FESTIVAL'S LOGO TO THEIR WEBSITE, AFFILIATED FESTIVAL HAVE TO HYPERLINK CCFFLA'S LOGO TO CCFFLA'S WEB SITE AND DURING THE FESTIVAL AFFILIATED FESTIVALS WILL BE ABLE TO HAVE BOTH AND FREE TO ALL THE EVENTS AND SCREENINGS.
